Michelle Fernandez
Owner of Medianoche Café, Michelle Fernandez is a Mexican- American Latina, born and raised in Chicago. Michelle was encouraged to open Media Noche Cafe in 2020 after she learned the Cuban seasonings from her husbands grandfather, who was born and raised in Havana, Cuba.

Food made with love and all the flavors of Cuba. Michelle discovered the world of Cuban cuisine through her husband's family. Her husband's grandfather came to the states from Cuba and later opened his own restaurant in Elmwood Park, where Michelle was a waitress. They now get to share their diverse flavors of Cuba with the community and the city as Medianoche Café.
